How to Install and Use the GE Profile PT925SNSS Oven
The GE Profile PT925SNSS is a 30-inch built-in single/double convection wall oven that offers versatile cooking options and features. This article will guide you through the installation and operation of this oven, as well as provide some troubleshooting tips and accessories information.
Installation Instructions
Before installing the oven, make sure you have the following tools and materials:
A Phillips head screwdriver
A level
A tape measure
A drill with a 1/8-inch bit
A wire stripper
A wire cutter
A UL listed or CSA approved conduit connector
A UL listed wire nuts
Anti-tip brackets and screws
Follow these steps to install the oven:
Turn off the circuit breaker or remove the fuse to the oven branch circuit.
Remove all packing material from the oven.
Remove the oven door and set it aside on a padded surface.
Locate the junction box and make sure it is accessible and within reach of the conduit on the back of the oven.
Connect the conduit connector to the junction box and tighten it securely.
Connect the green (or bare) ground wire from the oven to the green (or bare) ground wire in the junction box using a wire nut.
Connect the white (neutral) wire from the oven to the white (neutral) wire in the junction box using a wire nut.
Connect the black (L1) wire from the oven to the black (L1) wire in the junction box using a wire nut.
Connect the red (L2) wire from the oven to the red (L2) wire in the junction box using a wire nut.
Tuck the wires into the junction box and close the cover.
Slide the oven into the cabinet opening and align it with the front edge of the cabinet.
Secure the oven to the cabinet with four screws through the holes in each side of the oven frame.
Install the anti-tip brackets on both sides of the cabinet base using two screws for each bracket.
Reinstall the oven door by aligning it with the hinges and sliding it down until it locks into place.
Turn on the circuit breaker or replace the fuse to the oven branch circuit.
Set the clock and test the oven functions to make sure they work properly.

Operating Instructions
The GE Profile PT925SNSS oven has two ovens: an upper convection oven and a lower thermal oven. You can use them separately or together for different cooking modes. Here are some of the main features and functions of this oven:
Oven Controls
The oven controls are located on a touchpad panel above the upper oven door. You can use them to set various options such as temperature, time, mode, probe, timer, clock, lock, etc. To use them, follow these steps:
Press ON/OFF to turn on or off either oven.
Select UPPER OVEN or LOWER OVEN to choose which oven you want to use.
Select BAKE, BROIL, CONVECTION BAKE, CONVECTION ROAST, CONVECTION BROIL, SLOW COOK, PIZZA, WARMING or PROOFING to choose a cooking mode for either oven.
Select START/ENTER to confirm your selection or start a function.
Select TEMP/TIME +/- to adjust temperature or time settings for either oven.
Select PROBE to use a meat thermometer for either oven. Insert one end of
the probe into a meat cut and plug in
the other end into
the outlet on
the left side of
the upper or lower
